What should I wear and not to wear?

Immodest clothing is any clothing that is tight, sheer or revealing in any other manner. Young women should avoid short shorts and short skirts, shirts that do not cover the stomach, and clothing that does not cover the shoulders or is low-cut in the front or the back. Young men should also maintain modesty in their appearance. Young men and young women should be neat and clean and avoid being extreme or inappropriately casual in clothing, hairstyle, and behavior. They should choose appropriately modest apparel when participating in sports. The fashions of the world will change, but the Lord’s standards will not change.

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? … The temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” 1 Corinthians 3:16–17

There are a lot of modest clothing around the market, and you should choose modest clothes rather than revealing clothes. Here are some of the Modest clothes you can wear in going to malls, church and other activities.

Dresses

Dresses are a perfect example of modest clothes, yet some of them are sleeveless you should choose a dress that has a sleeve in it. A lot of girls in our Ward wear dresses and they look so beautiful.

Skirts

Dress them up for church with nicer tops, and during the week I wear more casual tops with them. It is alternative clothes that you can wear if your dresses are all in the laundry shop.

Blouses

Blouses are also one of the best options to wear when going to church, it looks so nice. A lot of Young men might have a crush on you so watch out for them.

Tops

Blouses are so nice, but there is definitely a place for more relaxed tops. These don’t have to be a sloppy t-shirt look if you don’t want.

Cardigans and Jackets

Cardigans and Jackets are so ideal when it’s winter, it looks so fashionable and it can also protect you from having hyperthermia.

There are plenty of clothes that are modest and I can’t write them all and for the viewer’s information, I am a Young Men I don’t know what girls like when it comes to modest fashion it’s just my opinion as a man on what qualities we are looking in girls.
