To worship The Lord thy God is an individual responsibility, regardless of how we feel about our life, other members, family or friends, our own experiences, or any thing else. We owe it to God, not to be slack in this endeavor, but to give it our upmost, and faithful attention. We love Him because He first loved us, and because of all the blessings, and gifts He has bestowed upon us, even the giving of His very life. We ought to search, ponder, and pray, in finding out, what He would have us do, and have us accomplish. We then may have a humbling of our former self, as we begin to commune with him, and to seek him out, prepared to receive His specific answers even for our own-selves. To worship in gratitude, our God, we first need to know, or have an understanding of what His plans and designs are for each of us in this mortal life, both generally and specific and what He wants us to become, and to obtain. The truths of the gospel will help teach, and instruct us, along with our personal revelation, to do so and also how to behave, and to become an image and likeness of Him. Then, to the best of our ability, we do and emulate the things He has done, by following His example, whereby He glorified himself and bent, and bowed, to his Father’s will. We then should do exactly likewise, to our ability, capacity, and strength, bending and bowing to the will of our Lord. We should refine ourselves, walking in repentance, and forgiveness, regenerating, and purifying, our intends, and motives, so that our bodily vessels, or temples, will be acceptable and worthy, as they are presented before our Maker, Former, and Creator. We will sometimes falter, and stumble, and some may even fall, yet the Potter as paid the ultimate price, and we, the clay, can still be shaped, molded and formed anew. The Potter will indeed shape and mold us as we turn our will over into his hands, and He will have power over His clay. Then we will bud and blossom as a rose, set in a polished new and shining vessel, ready and prepared for the highest, and most glorious heavens high above.

Jeremiah 18:3 – 6
“Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.”
