The Community Care Refugee Organization recently received a generous donation of baby products and laundry supplies from single adults of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The 300 attendees from every state in Australia, along with some international visitors, gathered together in Arcadia in Northwest Sydney last month to participate in a range of activities during the National Convention. Also in Attendance were speakers, Elder Andrew O’Riordan and Elder Daniel Hamilton, Area Seventies (Senior Leaders) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Responding to the request to seek out opportunities to assist refugees in the community, the attendees brought their donations to assist a local Community Care Refugee Program which provides assistance to marginalized refugees living in Western Sydney.

The donations were warmly received by Holly and Liam Pender on behalf of the refugee organization. They explained the significant difference that the goods donated will make in the lives of refugee families who are seeking to adjust to life in Sydney.
