TOKYO JAPAN — The Japan Tokyo North Mission released an announcement, Monday, June 18, that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, President Osamu Sekiguch’s release date will be extended.
He will continue to serve as the mission President until the next Mission President arrives in Japan. The announcement was made following the strict travel restrictions caused by the pandemic.
The arrival of the new Mission, as well as President Sekiguchi’s release date, is still undetermined. His release date was supposedly scheduled on June 30, 2020.
