The Republic of The Philippines
The Pioneers
By: Romrik Joshua FloresThe pioneers moved to Kirtland,
For Americans seized the Pioneers,
They’ve been persecuted;
Murdered and burnt their homesSo the Pioneers moved to Nauvoo,
There they built ranches, farmlands and bridges,
Where the felt free and finally at peace;
Yet the mobs burnt it all.The Pioneers moved to the West,
With courage strong,
For they knew the almighty would cease,
All the adversity in the Land.Adversity made them strong,
They began to Prosper and grow,
They built their homes that they can call their own,
And they called it the City of Bountiful.
